Cost: Gashuku: £10.00 Kata / Forms Championships: £10.00 Gashuku & Kata / Forms Chamionships: £15.00 Spectators £3.00 on the day Time: Gashuku TBA Kata / Creative Forms Doors open for sign in at TBA (sign in closes at TBA) KATA / CREATIVE FORMS RULES The Judges may disqualify a competitor in the event of comments deemed to be derogatory being passed by a coach, member of the crowd or any other person. In these cases the Judge will first, openly and politely, warn the offender explaining fully what will happen if they repeat their behaviour. The Judge will then disqualify whomever they are supporting immediately upon repeat offence during the competition and report to a Class A Referee who may then ask the offender to leave the venue. It is important that all Kata competitors book in naming their style as soon as possible in order for us to arrange the correct judges for the panel. NOTE: The Kata area may not be matted and competitors taking part in musical forms must provide their own music systems. Men and Women will be placed together and may be split into 2 sections based on grade, as will Boys and Girls (Cadets). Each will perform their Kata / Form in front of the Kata Referees and will be scored from 1 to 10 including up to 1 decimal point. At the end of the section the winner will be the Competitor with the highest score. In the event of 2 or more scores being the same, another Kata will be performed different to the 1st. This will continue if required until clear 1st, 2nd & 3rd place have been awarded. In the case of musical Kata / Forms there is no time limit set as to the length of the Kata / Form. However common sense is requested. The Referees may stop the Kata / Form if they deem it too long.
