| WHAT IS COBRA KICKBOXING? |
| In Dukinfield, Gee Cross & Denton Cobra Kickboxing is only taught to ages 13 years and over (under 12's are taught a style known as Cobra FMA at the Cobra Kids Club in Dukinfield - click here). Cobra Kickboxing combines techniques taken from Freestyle and Muay Thai Kickboxing that are all done full contact on focus mits, strike shields and bags. No part of the Syllabus is done "in thin air". The full Cobra Kickboxing Syllabus can be downloaded from this site BY CLICKING HERE or purchased in book form from the Club. All sparring is Light Contact and to take part in competitions is optional. Gradings are held every 3 months (6 months after 4th KYU - purple) and again are optional. |
| Students of 4th KYU and above are eligable to begin training as an Instructor via the Martial Arts Instructor UK Training programme which can be seen by using the link from the Instructor Profiles page.
