| The C.M.A.A. fully supports the concept of the Government and Sports Council Club Mark through all Sports. In short the development of "safe, effective and child friendly clubs". With that in mind we have developed our own award based on the same principals and ideals to ensure high standards within our member clubs. In addition to this the C.M.A.A. Office/Honbu holds the Greater Manchester Sports Partnership Club Mark which is the local equivalent to that of Sport England. (click here) As more and more Local Authorities are asking for some kind of "Kite Mark" the C.M.A.A. Quality Club Award is optional for all Members and Affiliates should they require it and helps to show that a Club provides a high Standard of service to it's Students. To gain the Award the Club must qualify in 5 areas: 1. Coaching & Health and Safety. 2. Child Protection & Duty of Care. 3. Student Training. 4. Equality & Ethics. 5. Club Management. For full C.M.A.A. Quality Club Award details either contact the C.M.A.A. or go to the Books section on the Merchandise page and order a leaflet. Questions about the C.M.A.A. Club Award? Click Here |
