What is a Quality Club Award Audit?

A systematic and independent examination to determine whether the Club and it's activities still comply with the standards set out by the C.M.A.A. Quality Club Award.

Types of Audit

1. System Audit at the Club.
2. Follow up Audit to check on and close out any Non Conformances

When will Audits be carried out?

Audits are carried out every 2 years. Failure to comply with this will result in the award being withdrawn. Due dates are listed on the Accredited Clubs page.

What will the Audit cost?

The audit fee is £20 plus any travel expenses that are incurred by the Auditor.

Who will conduct the Audit?

The Audit will be conducted by a C.M.A.A. Instructor who has attended and passed the C.M.A.A. Quality Club Award Auditors Course.
There are currently 2 qualified C.M.A.A. Auditors at present, they are: -

The Audit will verify that

The Club still complies with all 5 areas of the Quality Club Award

Audit Objectives

1. To ensure that each area of the Quality Club Award conforms in relation to specific requirements
2. To provide opportunities for improvement

Audit Schedule

1. Forward plan and agree date
2. Plan and prepare by studying the 5 Quality Club Award areas and requirements
3. Hold an opening meeting
4. Carry out the Audit
5. List any non-conformances and issue non-conformance report (NCR)
6. Complete the Audit report form
7. Set a date for the follow up Audit in order to close out any NCR's
8. Hold a closing meeting
9. Send the Audit Report to the C.M.A.A. Office
